Breaks 2 Million Sales

A new press release from ArenaNet announced that Guild Wars 2 has sold over 2 million units. This is a very impressive figure given that there were 1 million pre-sales before release! Also it should be noted that Anet had to close down direct sales because of the demand and the additional strain it placed on the servers.

With peak concurrency regularly exceeding 400,000 players and first week sales that placed it at the top of the All Formats charts across ten European territories, it’s clear that demand for the game hasn’t slowed.
